On Tuesday 11^th March Vikings invaded the Cub Pack meeting for the night, with some of the Cubs wearing great Viking outfits for the occasion. From his camp a Viking Warrior, Erik, talked about both his life as a farmer and going Viking in search of land and silver. He showed how to use a sword in the shield wall and Viking throwing axe in battle. The Vikings brought along nice (and not so nice) Viking food.

Kaa (Assistant Cub Scout Leader) said "I think the really Cubs enjoyed themselves and they were all very well behaved too, as even the History Group commented on. The Cubs were keen to know about the Vikings and they were asking loads of questions."
