Ready for fun that's a bit more adventurous? Cubs are boys and girls aged between 8 and 10 1/2 , and they make up the second section of the Scout Group. The Cub Pack is split into smaller groups called Sixes, each one has a Sixer and a Seconder but to become one of those you have to earn the chance by trying your best to be a good Cub Scout. We normally have between 25 - 30 Cub Scouts in our Pack. We often join up with our Beaver Colony or Scout Troop (or both!), and with Cubs from across the country, for more scouting fun and to help the local community. Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out, to places like the zoo, theme parks or a farm. For example in February 2008 our Cub Pack spent 2 days in London and slept on board HMS Belfast! Sometimes you will be able to go camping with the rest of your Pack. This will mean you sleeping in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities. For example in June 2010 our Cubs blasted off to Space Camp! Follow the link on the left to see some helpful guidance for adults helping out at meetings and activities with our Cub Pack. See what we have been up by clicking on "Photo Gallery" in the main menu. If you are a registered user you will be able to see a copy of this term's programme.
