1st Fenstanton & Hilton For those who think Scouting's had it's day then we suggest you think again! Every week 85 boys and girls aged 6 to 14 take part in fun adventure and the adults have a great time too  Whether you are 6 or 60 there is bound to be something you can get involved in. . So just take a look at the opportunities our youngsters have had during the last year and come and join the fun soon...... . Cubs have had the chance to earn 6 nights away and Scouts could have earned 15 - ranging from local events in St Ives to an island in the Oslo Fjord in Norway! As well as all the regular activities when based in and around our Scout Hut youngsters have been able to go climbing, use kayaks, try shooting, treasure hunts, pond dipping, a pancake party, combine punting with a ghost walk, visit the Police Air Support Unit, been to Duxford.... the list would fill several pages As if that wasn't enough we have helped others through supporting a Scouting project in Malawi. We have then had our own fundraisers - Christmas Post, a car wash, bag packing, Big Breakfast. We also take part in District and County events for all ages - Handicraft competitions, Beaveree, Sleepovers, St George's Day, Remembrance Day, swimming galas... We are a really active Scout Group in Cambridgeshire, and are keen for both adults and children alike to make the most of what Scouting has to offer. If you or your children are already in our Group then you should be able to find most things you need. You can also contact us to give feedback (as our crystal ball has yet to be delivered), suggest new fund raisers or let your children suggest events and activities for any section.
